Big Changes, Bold Looks, All Hybrid...

Jeep fans, this is the one you’ve been waiting for. The 2026 Jeep® Cherokee (KM) has been spotted again, with far less camouflage, revealing both the rugged exterior and a first look inside the cabin. With Jeep’s D-segment midsize SUV finally going hybrid-only, this latest prototype gives us the clearest preview yet of what’s to come. And spoiler alert—it’s looking good.

This is shaping up nicely, I'm excited to see the finished product!!! I admit I'll be disappointed if the only engine option is the 1.6T hybrid, considering the size of this model. It's looks like the interior will mirror the Wagoneer S which is a huge plus. Curious if they will add a Trailhawk and Summit trims to this lineup in the future??

Bigger screens, ever shrinking powertrain. There's no difference between Jeep and Toyota when you're talking competing head to with a sub 2L four banger. Guess which one Customers are going to pick? Guess which ones existing CDJRs owners are going to pick if the proposition of a better powertrain is taken away?

The brief (2010-2019) CDJR success story is, and will always be, more powertrain for the money vs other OEMs. If they deviate from that, disaster will follow (see the Hornet/Tonale, EV Charger, Wagoneer sales vs Tahoe/Suburban/Escalade/etc.).

Needs an ICE only option or they have lost me as a customer. After 3 Jeeps my wife and I were hoping for a larger Cherokee but not a hybrid nor an EV. Jeep will ostracize a large chunk of market with hybrid only imo.

I'm glad to see how it is much more utilitarian in the rear design. Looks like the side has lost some of the sculpting that WK2 and KL had, more like WL now. Looks like KM retains KL's front heavy look tho.

I'm disappointed to see the electronic door handles and the loss of real buttons inside though.
