The Future Of The Chrysler Brand Is Coming In The Form Of Crossovers:
Chrysler's Mainstream Branding Will Take Shape With New Crossovers and MPV...

We get e-mail all the time about the Chrysler brand. The most common question is when is Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) going to get rid of the dying Chrysler brand. To put it bluntly, it’s not. The Chrysler brand has taken a back seat to some of the “cash cows” (or vehicles that are old, that have all of their tooling paid off, that still sell well and make loads of profit for the company). Models like the Dodge Grand Caravan, which continues to outsell its younger Chrysler Pacifica sibling and the popular three-row Dodge Journey. These vehicles continue to sell well, and FCA is taking advantage of it.

According to our sources inside of FCA, there will be up to 5 vehicles in a Chrysler brand lineup by 2023. Of course, the Chrysler Pacifica will stay. While we do say goodbye to the Chrysler 300 after the 2020 model year, the Chrysler brand will aim itself at more of a mainstream people mover brand. That brand will consist of mainly crossovers and MPV (minivans).

I'll go ahead and share this in case anyone thinks it's a Grand Commander with a Chrysler front end.

Good evening, nice work Ryan i like it, this would nicely fill a gap in Chryslers line up. Good times ahead.
MOPAR Always!

Nicely done. It will be good to have more horses in the stable.

I'm surprised nobody thought of this sooner.

Is this based on the Jeep Commander (or whatever) that is sold in Chins?

For those interested the Jeep China website is quire detailed in the description of the Commander... it worth a look. The interior is very Chrysler already.

If they made a "new Magnum" under the Chrysler banner I'd buy that in a heartbeat. I had an 08 Magnum and I loved it except for the horrifying Daimler-era quality. Great car to look at, not great to be inside. But if it had still been in production when they did the 2011 refits... man I wish there had been a 2nd gen. So I'm all for a Charger based Chrysler wagon.

A lot of front paint to get damaged by road debris... I've become obsessed by damage to my headlight lenses and front bumpers/hoods lately it seems big truck throw lots of stones....
I hate that too.

Nothing manufacturers can really do about that unless you buy a Jeep with replaceable black bumpers & trim, though.

Keep back from vehicles in front of you and install some paint film, the only things that work from my experience.
