Director of muscle cars at Dodge says S.O. Sixpack is launching "early next year"..
Wonder why this is? I reckon engine issues?

Also played coy and vague when asked about a V8 Charger.

They are stuck in the ICE engines.
On one hand they have the SO and HO Hurricanes which are more powerful and efficient than the HEMI 5.7 and 6.4 respectively, and they have invested a lot of money on them to kill it without achieving its ROI.
On the other hand, they are people who want a V8 for the sake of it.
I truly see a place for the Hellcat and Redeye engines, but the NA V8’s have no justification.

This is where I have been for a long time. This is a MARKETING ISSUE... on a company that has be hideous a marketing lately.

You run commercials where ...... "That there got a Hemi" NOPE and it gaps a V8 car... any V8 car.... or Truck for that matter. You run the same sort of AD campaign that made the "HEMI" famous. Right now most of the people thing the Hurricane is a new Pentastar. And have NO idea how potent it is. NEW SIX pack and you start in the trucks. By the time the Charger is out, you get the WOW they put that in a Car.......

But alias I am still waiting for a Hornet commercial the explains it is a PHEV that you can go for a month without buying gas and still drive it in a spirited manner when you want too,

... and not have to wear a snowmobile suit to drive it in cold weather.🥶

Tonale is fine in the Cold... Who had a problem with them in the cold? We had record cold this did fine
The PHEV vehicles do well in the cold, that's a selling point. The driver does not need to wear a snowmobile suit in cold weather. I froze shuffling the BEVs up to charging stations this past winter. I even was getting brick warnings on the instrument panel as well on a few of them. The Silverado EV in the W/T trim doesn't even have heated seats or steering wheel. Which is a necessity in cold weather for a BEV. I'm glad I'm retired now.

For sure.... Oddly enough our 4xE used Electric less than the Tonale with it being cold? I suppose its because to be AWD the Tonale has to use the EV motor.
