Chrysler’s New Pacifica Will Make Its Debut Thursday In Chicago:

Pacifica Will Be First Vehicle To Showcase FCA's New Uconnect System...

For the past several weeks, MoparInsiders has been dropping details of the upcoming mid-life refresh on the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica. It seems the Chrysler brand has been hard at work revamping its minivan lineup and starting on Thursday morning, we will see the Chrysler brand’s results with the launch of its new 2021 Chrysler Pacifica lineup at the Chicago Auto Show.

The Chrysler brand launched a minisite for its 2021 Chrysler Pacifica minivan, featuring a countdown clock to the 9:00 am CST press conference Thursday morning. Unlike minisites of the past, the site is absent of any photos of the new minivan.

We do know that this will be the first official public showing of the recent Uconnect 5 infotainment system, that Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) released details on last week. The updated infotainment system and sporty new look that the Pacifica will showcase are just a fraction of the updates coming in 2021.

For the past several years, we have been hearing about a new all-wheel-drive offering that will use a separate electric motor to power the rear wheels separately. This would allow the Pacifica to continue to utilize its popular Stow & Go seating option as well as the containment area for the Pacifica Hybrid’s battery packs, without the need for a driveshaft running through the middle of the van.

We are also hearing about some updates in range for the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid model, however, we aren’t sure if that particular model will be in Chicago, just yet.

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica showcases FCA’s commitment to continue to grow the Chrysler brand into the future. Recently, the Chrysler brand showed off the Chrysler Airflow Vision Concept, which showcased the brand’s future ideas for in-vehicle connectivity.
