CAUGHT: Our First Look At The Face Of The New 2021 Ram 1500 TRX:

Best Look Yet Of The Upcoming Hellcat-Powered Off-Roader...

Over the past few weeks, there have been a lot of rumors circulating around the upcoming Hellcat-powered 2021 Ram 1500 TRX. Recently, our friends over at TFLTruck.com have leaked some images of the interior and some under the hood shots of the upcoming truck and have confirmed some of the things our sources have told us about the upcoming truck (like the console-mounted shifter), the images have also shown us the upcoming center stack upgrades for 2021 that include a new trailer steering feature.

However, there have been rumors about the upcoming truck featuring a crosshair grille design. Thanks to a couple of leaked new images (send exclusively to our sister 5thGenRams.com), we can now confirm that crosshair grille design seen on prototypes is merely a ruse to hide the real face of the upcoming Ram off-roader.

What we see is a new take on the current Rebel grille that incorporates the LED Adaptive Front-lighting System (AFS) headlamps from the new 2020 Ram 1500 Limited Black, which our sources confirmed awhile ago. When compared to the Rebel’s grille, the new TRX grille looks to have a more open surface area to help improve the cooling of that massive supercharged HEMI under the hood.

The badging is still covered in the shot of the front end, however, we believe it to be made of a flow-through design similar to what Ram showed us on their recent 2020 Ram 1500 Rebel OTG Concept that made its appearance at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show, this past fall. We see that the Rebel front bumper design, remains intact, however, it has been extended to cover the new wider track of the TRX widebody kit.

As for the hood design, it features a few characteristics similar to the one found on the Ram 1500 Rebel TRX Concept, like the 6.2-liter Supercharged script up on the hood. However, the production TRX will feature an all-new hood scoop design that as we have previously stated, will incorporate three LED amber running lights. The new scoop will feed a massive air intake which we have seen in the TFLTruck.com pictures, making sure that HEMI Hellcat V8 has lots of breathing ability.

We are expecting Ram to officially show off the truck to the public in the next couple of months. The truck is expected to go into production in October at the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant (SHAP), which restarted production with one-shift on Monday, May 18th
