Canada’s Sport Model, Gets A Night Edition Option Too!

2020 Ram 1500 Sport Can Now Be Outfitted With The Night Edition Package...

Over the past two years, we have talked a lot about the Canadian-exclusive Ram 1500 Sport model. For those who aren’t familiar with the truck, the Ram 1500 Sport is distinguished foremost by its monochromatic exterior and set off by a black billet bar grille with R-A-M lettering. The standard bi-LED headlamps wear black internal bezels and are complemented by LED signature daytime running lamps and LED fog lamps. The hood badging and side window surrounds are also blacked-out. An optional Sport hood is available for customers who crave a more aggressive look.

This past weekend, we were at the 2020 Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, Ontario where Ram had on display its latest variant of the 2020 Ram 1500 Sport, the Night Edition. That’s right, just like the Big Horn and Laramie, the Sport (which sits directly in the middle of both models) gets a new Night Edition package for the 2020 model year.

Since the badging and the lighting on the Canadian-exclusive Sport already are blacked-out the Night Edition package for the Sport includes only two additional features, a set of black 22-inch dual five-spoke aluminum wheels and an all-black grille. The Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the Canadian Sport Night Edition package is $1,295, on top of the standard Sport price.

So for those who live in Canada and want a Sport model but don’t have the extra cash to shell out for a Laramie Night Edition, you now have a choice. Several 2020 Ram 1500 Sport Night Edition models are currently sitting on dealer lot across the country, so be sure to check out your local Ram dealer for details.
