Destined To The Garage Of Walter P. Chrysler's Great-Grandson, Frank Rhodes...

The illustrious legacy of the Chrysler 300C has culminated today with the final 2023 model rolling off the line at Ontario’s Brampton Assembly Plant. Assembled by a team that gathered to honor its significance, this marks the end of an era for the HEMI-powered icon that symbolized American luxury and bold design for almost seven decades.

“Our workforce here at Brampton Assembly has a reputation for building top-quality vehicles, and the Chrysler 300C was no different,” said Alex Pittas, Plant Manager at Brampton Assembly. “We are proud of the workmanship and detail that went into all 2,200 that rolled down our assembly line in 2023.”

From its inaugural appearance in 1955 to its rebirth in 2005, the Chrysler 300 has stood as a testament to American luxury and performance. The 300C, notably dating back to the seminal muscle cars, has played a pivotal role in this lineage. The 6.4-liter (392 cubic-inch) HEMI® V8 engine in the 2023 iteration paid homage to its predecessors, boasting 485 horsepower and 475 lb.-ft. of torque, a testament to the powerful legacy it continued.

“Our workforce here at Brampton Assembly has a reputation for building top-quality vehicles, and the Chrysler 300C was no different,” said Chris Feuell, Chrysler brand chief executive officer. “As we celebrate the last HEMI-powered 300C off the line with our Brampton team members, we’re also excited to work together as the Chrysler brand moves forward to a sustainable all-electric future as part of the Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan.”

The exclusive 2023 Chrysler 300C, a limited production of 2,200 units, saw reservations filled within 12 hours of its 2022 reveal. Its distinctive tri-color badge on the grille and rear decklid embodied the vehicle’s unique persona, while the interior boasted black Laguna leather seats adorned with the symbolic 300C logo.

Additional performance features included red four-piston Brembo brakes, an active damping suspension, and a distinct active exhaust system amplifying a muscular, throaty sound. The exterior accents, such as black chrome detailing and black headlamp bezels, accentuated its bold design.

This final model of the 2023 Chrysler 300C, painted in the stunning Velvet Red, is destined for the home of Frank Rhodes, the great-grandson of Chrysler founder Walter P. Chrysler. Production of the rest of the 300 Series models will end on December 22nd, 2023.
