Alfa Romeo Unveils Tributo Italiano Special Edition Series
Marks The First Time That Tonale, Gets A Special Edition Model...
Alfa Romeo enthusiasts and automotive fans are in for a treat as the revered marque introduces its latest marvel—the Tributo Italiano special edition series. Celebrating the brand’s origins, Italian excellence, and unmistakable sportiness, this exceptional collection marks a pivotal moment for Alfa Romeo.
Breaking convention, Alfa Romeo presents a distinctive offering for the Giulia, Stelvio, and compact Tonale. The Tributo Italiano embodies a shared stylistic and aesthetic language among these models, emphasizing meticulous attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to top-tier quality.
Distinguished by a striking two-tone livery with a sleek black roof, body-color body kit, and the esteemed addition of the Italian flag on the mirror caps, this series redefines sophistication. Available exclusively in the hues of the Italian flag—Rosso Alfa, Verde Montreal, and Bianco Alfa (Alfa Red, Montreal Green, and Alfa White)—accentuated by a Black roof that doubles as a sunroof for the Tonale as an optional extra, the Tributo Italiano series exudes unparalleled elegance.
The hallmark features contributing to this series’ bold allure include the iconic front grille with a distinct “V” insert, alloy wheels, 21-inch on the Stelvio, new 19-inch on the Giulia, 20-inch on the Tonale, and vibrant Red Brembo brake calipers, accentuating the sporty essence of these top-of-the-range models.
To infuse a touch of refined elegance into the characteristic sportiness, Alfa Romeo introduces a myriad of enhancements, such as the lower body kit painted to match the bodywork, front and rear bumper side inserts, wheel arches, and side skirts across the lineup. The Tonale model has matte Dark Miron skid plates, side/front accents, adaptive Full-LED Matrix headlights, and chrome-plated twin tailpipes for the Q4 Plug-In Hybrid variant.
The Tributo Italiano models mirror the exterior’s sporty ethos inside the cabin—black leather sports seats adorned with red hints and embroidered front headrests showcasing the unique series logo. Red stitching illuminating the dashboard, seats, and door panels evoke a sense of luxury and athleticism. The Tonale elevates the experience with a “carbon design” dashboard fascia, ambient lighting, and an aluminum kick plate, redefining luxury within.
Ensuring a comfortable and immersive journey, these models boast dual-zone air conditioning, a heated steering wheel with aluminum shift paddles, a sophisticated infotainment system, heated front seats, and a premium 14-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, promising a blend of comfort, refinement, and friendliness, all embodying the essence of Italian craftsmanship.
Under the hood, the Giulia and Stelvio models offer power from a selection of engines, including a 280 horsepower gasoline turbocharged 2.0-liter GME-T4 inline-four-cylinder or a 160 horsepower rear-wheel-drive 2.2-liter Multijet turbodiesel inline-four-cylinder. Meanwhile, the Tonale offers a choice between a 160 horsepower 1.5-liter GSE-T4 inline-four-cylinder hybrid or the robust 280 horsepower Q4 Plug-In Hybrid boasting over 80 kilometers (49.7 miles) of all-electric range and more than 600 kilometers (373 miles) of total range.
Technical specifications are paramount, with features like the “Dual-Stage Valve” active suspension delivering a unique and engaging driving experience synonymous with Alfa Romeo’s tradition. Safety takes center stage with Level 2 autonomous driving features, a high-resolution 360° view camera, Blind Spot Detector, Rear Cross-Path Detector, side sensors, and electrochromic external rearview mirrors.
As pre-orders open for the European market, select version of them will arrive in North America in Q2 2024. Stay tuned as Alfa Romeo keeps enthusiasts on the edge of their seats with this exceptional celebration of heritage, excellence, and unmistakable Italian flair.
