CAUGHT: Another 2019 Ram 2500 Tradesman Gives Us More Details:

Optional Equipment On This Tester And We Have More Proof Of Updated Models...

Spy photographers have caught another 2019 Ram 2500 Tradesman model, that has stripped away the heavy camouflage for a black and white paint scheme. This Ram 2500 has a few more options than the first truck we showed you last week.

Again in regular cab long box configuration, this prototype is equipped with the optional clearance lights and tow hooks in the front bumper. If you pay close attention to the hood, you can see underneath the black camouflage that the new Heavy Duty Rams will have the model badging on the hoods, similar to the 1500 models. Unlike the camouflaged model before, we get to see the shape of the fog lamp housing exposed. Obviously there is a filler spacer put on this model, since fog lights aren’t equipped, but it gives us a better look at the front bumper styling in more detail.

Inside the Tradesman, we can clearly see the same 5.0-inch Uconnect system incorporated in the dash as the 2019 Ram 1500 Tradesman models.

While we have talked about the 2019 Ram Heavy Duty models being refreshed versions of the 4th generation Ram trucks, these new Tradesman models have shown us that the tail lamps while styled the same are clearly designed to fit in the housing of the 4th generation Ram pickup box light housings. We can clearly see that the top section of the tail lamp is rounded like the current 4th generation models tail lamps instead of being flat like those found on the all-new 2019 Ram 1500. While we aren’t sure just yet if current Ram owners will be able to update their Ram trucks with the new tail lamps.

Another picture of a still heavily camouflaged Ram 3500 Crew Cab prototype has shown us that the with the rear door open, you can clearly see the same details in the doors as the current 4th generation Ram pickups such as our 2016 Ram 1500 Sport we have compared the image to.

The heavily updated new Ram Heavy Duty will debut in January at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan.
