Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio Shines On Screen In “6 Underground” Movie:

Sublime Giulia Stars In Michael Bay's New Action Thriller On Netflix...

If you are a frequenter of Netflix, then you probably saw that there was a new movie uploaded to the streaming service last month called “6 Underground”. The movie stars comedic and action actor Ryan Reynolds as an unnamed American billionaire and philanthropist who made his fortunes from inventing neodymium magnets fakes his own death to form an anonymous vigilante squad to take down criminals and terrorists that governments will not touch. Yes, its an action movie, and it’s directed by Michael Bay, so that should sum up most of it.

2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio on the set of Netflix’s “6 Underground”. (6 Underground Social Media).

But what makes “6 Underground” worthy of being talked about on MoparInsiders, is the fact that the movie also stars a custom 2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio. Equipped with a “Sublime” paint job, the custom Giulia Quadrifoglio plays the role of the getaway car for Reynolds and his crew, as they escape the Italian mafia and police in Florence, Italy in the movie’s opening scene.

Being a Michael Bay movie, there are tons of over the top explosions, but the Giulia Quadrifoglio shines as it gets chased by other Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) vehicles like Lancias and Maseratis, as well as some German vehicles.

The stunt work involving the car is pretty amazing to watch, but be very forewarned that the movie does feature some over the top and ultra-violent death scenes. But nevertheless, the twin-turbocharged Alfa sedan and the car chase it takes part in is definitely the highlight of the movie.

If you have been watching cable television lately or checking out Alfa Romeo’s social media accounts out in the past month, you might have caught Reynolds doing voiceovers for several new of the brand’s commercials that cross-promote the movie and the Stelvio and Giulia lineups. As well a minute-long commercial featuring Michael Bay checking out a Giulia Quadrifoglio in an Alfa Romeo showroom.

But judging by all the positive payback on the brand’s social media accounts, maybe they will listen and paint a series of their Quadrifoglio models in the “Sublime” paint scheme that has been made famous from the company’s other performance brand Dodge.
