Alfa Romeo Celebrates 115 Years of Driving Passion
Celebrating Passion and Performance from One of Italy’s Most Iconic Brands
Today, June 24th, we celebrate 115 years of Alfa Romeo, an automotive brand that’s as much about emotion and style as it is about speed and performance. Born in Milan in 1910, Alfa Romeo has spent more than a century shaping what it means to drive with passion. And while it’s proudly Italian at its core, the brand has a dedicated following here in the U.S. that runs just as deep.

To mark the occasion, Alfa threw a massive celebration at its museum in Arese, Italy, drawing over 1,300 fans, more than 350 Alfa vehicles, and representation from over 300 official Alfa Romeo clubs worldwide. From vintage race cars to today’s high-performance Giulia and Stelvio models, the event was a full-throttle tribute to Alfa’s legacy.

A standout moment? A flash-mob tribute featuring 115 Alfa Romeos spelling out “Alfa Romeo 115” on the track, a sight that perfectly captured the brand’s blend of heritage and fan devotion.
The party also included a time trial event, a global club meeting, and a deep dive into Alfa’s history through a special “115 Years of Alfa Romeo” panel that even showcased a scale wind tunnel model of the 33 Stradale.

That car, the new 33 Stradale, is one of the year’s headline grabbers. With only 33 hand-built units, it’s Alfa’s bold reminder of its roots in coachbuilding and motorsport. A stunning book dedicated to its design and engineering was also released, highlighting the return of Alfa’s custom-built supercars.

And while the celebrations honor the past, the brand’s momentum is very much forward. The new Alfa Romeo Junior crossover has already garnered over 42,000 orders since its launch, demonstrating a strong appetite for sporty, premium compact vehicles, especially in Europe.

Whether you’re into old-school Alfa racers or modern turbocharged sedans, this milestone is a reminder that Alfa Romeo isn’t just a car brand, it’s a feeling. One that’s alive and well after 115 years, and still turning heads on streets and racetracks around the world.
