Exterior & Body –

This Chrysler started life as a 1938 Royal Business Coupe but has been transformed into a highly customized all-metal street rod. The car was stripped to bare metal in 2012 and went through years of fabrication and bodywork before being finished in 2024. It wears a stunning White Pearl paint job with heavy Blue Flake, sprayed by Modern Muscle Car Factory, giving it a deep, shimmering look under the sun or lights.

The body features suicide doors with electric poppers, smoothed lines, and a stance that turns heads. Everything about this car is designed to be unique—you’ll never see another one like it out on the road.

Powertrain –

Under the hood, the original six-cylinder is long gone. In its place sits a 7.2-liter (440 cubic-inch) V8, topped with an Edelbrock carb and intake, cooled by a Be Cool radiator. Power is sent through a 727 TorqueFlite 3-speed automatic with a shift kit, making it as fun on the throttle as it is dependable.

Suspension & Chassis –

The suspension is heavily upgraded:

  • Mustang II front suspension with 2-inch drop spindles and tubular A-arms

  • Front Air-Ride setup, giving it extra clearance when needed

  • Four-link rear suspension with a narrowed Ford 9-inch rear end built by Moser

  • Massive Hoosier 31×18.5R15LT rear tires tucked under the body, thanks to tubbed wheel wells

This setup ensures both stability on the road and the aggressive stance you’d expect from a high-end hot rod.

Build History –

The current owner purchased the Chrysler in the early 2000s, but the real transformation began in 2012. Over the following years, it was stripped, cut, reinforced, and completely re-imagined before finally being finished in 2024. With only about 1,000 miles since completion, this coupe is practically new. A stack of receipts and build documents comes with the car, detailing the extensive investment that went into the project.
