Jeep® Avenger Crosses 200,000 Orders as Lineup Grows

Subcompact Jeep SUV Expands Appeal with Electrified AWD Performance and Rugged Versatility

The Jeep® Avenger (JJ), Jeep’s smallest SUV, has officially racked up more than 200,000 customer orders since its launch, proving that even in a crowded subcompact crossover segment, there’s still plenty of room for a rugged, lifestyle-focused option with the Jeep name on the hood.

2025 Jeep® Avenger Summit e BEV. (Jeep).

Originally unveiled in 2022 and launched across Europe in 2023, the Avenger was Jeep’s first battery-electric vehicle (BEV) designed specifically for the European market. But success didn’t stop there. Over time, Jeep added gasoline and e-Hybrid versions, and now they’re introducing the long-awaited 4xe — an all-wheel-drive (AWD) hybrid model that rounds out the most complete powertrain lineup in the segment.

The Avenger’s sales success is a direct result of a smart strategy: offer something for everyone. Whether it’s a traditional gasoline engine, an efficient hybrid, a zero-emissions BEV, or the new all-wheel-drive hybrid 4xe, Jeep has covered every major powertrain preference. According to Jeep, electrified variants now account for 66% of Avenger orders — up 16% in BEVs and a staggering 50% jump in hybrids over the past year.

The new Jeep Avenger 4xe isn’t just another hybrid. It brings all-wheel-drive capability to the table, something small SUV buyers in places with harsh winters or active lifestyles have been waiting for. It also debuts with a special North Face Edition — a limited run of just 4,806 units — built in collaboration with the popular outdoor gear brand. This edition features mountain-inspired styling and tough, functional materials ready for the trail.

Jeep says the Avenger has become one of the top 10 best-selling B-segment SUVs in Europe. Even more interesting is how it’s attracting a whole new customer base. Roughly 75% of Avenger buyers are new to the brand. Sales to women and younger drivers have also gone up, and the SUV is proving popular with young families who want a mix of style, utility, and value in a compact footprint.

The brand has even leaned into lifestyle marketing, with the latest TV commercial for the 4xe model featuring real outdoor athletes and a bold message of freedom and adventure. That messaging seems to be working — the conquest rate is high, and Avenger’s popularity continues to grow.

From its everyday practicality to its rugged looks and now even more versatile powertrain choices, the Jeep Avenger is hitting all the right notes. Whether you’re navigating city streets, back roads, or the occasional muddy trail, this little Jeep packs a big punch — and clearly, customers are noticing.
