It’s rare to get a Hot Wheels 5-pack where every single casting speaks to you—but the latest Mopar-themed pack from the middle of last year might just be the best one yet. I’ve seen it pop up at local stores even now, so if you’re a Mopar nut or just a Hot Wheels collector in general, don’t sleep on this one.

While most 5-packs tend to include one or two great cars with a couple of filler castings thrown in, this one is stacked with four solid winners—and one not-so-great model that still deserves a little love.
1969 Dodge Charger Daytona –

The Charger Daytona in this set doesn’t try to be flashy—it doesn’t need to. That Metalflake Red paint might look simple, but it highlights every inch of that long, aerodynamic nose and massive rear wing. Jun Imai’s 2013 design was ahead of its time, bringing a NASCAR legend into the die-cast world with attitude. Even with minimal tampos, this version screams vintage race car swagger without being overstyled. It’s a standout for sure.
2008 Dodge Challenger SRT8 –

This casting brings the modern muscle vibes in full force. Phil Riehlman nailed the wide, squared-off stance of the real car, and this one looks like it just rolled out of the factory and is ready for the track with a teal take on the modern Mopar logo and a mean scowl. The split five-spoke wheels aren’t premium, but they do the job. It’s one of those models that reminds you why the modern Challenger has such a cult following—and it’s a total sleeper in this set.
1978 Dodge Li’l Red Express Truck –

Hot Wheels could’ve phoned this one in, but instead, they delivered what might be the surprise MVP of the pack. The Li’l Red Express looks tough, and this color combo? It’s a total knockout. Paul DeLorean’s (yes, the son of famed automotive icon John Z. DeLorean) casting isn’t seen too often, which makes every new release feel a little special—and this one is. The dual stacks out back, chrome touches, and stance all add up to a truck that punches way above its weight.
1970 Dodge HEMI® Challenger R/T –

This casting is like your favorite old band still putting out good albums—it’s been around, but it still rocks. The gray and orange combo gives it a street-tough vibe, like it’s ready to tear up some asphalt. You can practically hear the rumble of the 426 HEMI® when you look at it. With a history that includes ZAMACs, Ultra Hots, and even collector convention exclusives, this is a heavy-hitter that continues to earn its spot in every Mopar fan’s collection.
2000 Dodge Viper GTS/R Concept –

Look, the Viper GTS/R Concept is one of Dodge’s wildest real-world concept cars, so it stings a bit to say this, but the casting doesn’t do it justice. It feels more like a track-day cartoon than a true Viper. Mark Jones’ early-2000s design definitely has charm, but it’s showing its age. The proportions feel off, the detail’s a little soft, and next to the other beasts in this pack, it kind of fades into the background. It’s the only letdown in an otherwise stellar lineup.
So here’s the deal—four out of five in this Mopar pack are total home runs. Whether you’re a serious collector or just someone who appreciates American muscle in miniature form, this 5-pack delivers. And even if the Viper doesn’t quite hit the mark, it still brings some variety. If you spot this one at your local store, grab it. It’s one of the most Mopar-faithful sets Hot Wheels has put out in years.
