Collectibles: No Car Like MOPAR Hot Wheels Set:

Walmart Exclusive Set, Is Getting Harder To Find...

If you are a collector of car memorabilia, then you probably have a ton of Hot Wheels in your collection. Collecting Hot Wheels is an affordable way to get into collecting car memorabilia and Hot Wheels’ parent company Mattel, does a great job of offering limited edition sets for collectors.

Back in August, Hot Wheels announced that the company was releasing a limited edition Mopar set of its famous 1:64 diecast cars for collectors. The set launched in September and was an exclusive set sold at Walmart. The “No Car like Mopar” Series, is a limited run of eight special edition diecast. The set includes the following vehicles…

  • ’70 Dodge Charger R/T
  • ’70 Dodge Power Wagon
  • ’71 Plymouth Road Runner
  • 2013 SRT Viper
  • Custom ’77 Dodge Van
  • Dixie Challenger
  • Dodge Charger Drift
  • Dodge Viper GTS-R

We were lucky enough to get our hands on two sets. One of which was damaged (the blister packs were smashed, but the cars were in alright condition), and one set that is still pristine condition (that we actually collected). So before collectors start having a fit about us opening the packs, the packages we opened were the heavily damaged ones.

While we still find a handful when we visit our local Walmart stores, there is a bunch still out there. So if you are a diehard Mopar fan or a diehard Hot Wheels collector, get them while you can. Some people are even selling the complete set on eBay!, which is where we found our damaged set to be able to show you photographs of the cars outside the blister packs.
