2025 Ram 2500/3500 Heavy Duty Trucks Hit U.S. Dealerships
Updated Heavy Duty Pickups Are Finally Starting To Arrive...

The updated 2025 Ram 2500 and 3500 Heavy Duty pickups are finally arriving at dealerships across the United States, with several dealers in Texas among the first to showcase the new models. Diana Rhoades from Lithia Chrysler Dodge Jeep® Ram of Corpus Christi, Texas, was one of the first to share photos of the newly arrived trucks on Facebook.

While the 2025 Ram Heavy Duty might look like a typical mid-cycle update, the 2500 and 3500 models have received several important upgrades over last year’s versions.
The exterior now features a more aggressive front-end design with a larger grille and standard LED headlights. At the rear, redesigned taillights clean up the truck’s appearance. The familiar Ram’s head logo has been replaced by bold R-A-M text on the tailgate, aligning the Heavy Duty lineup with the half-ton Ram 1500’s styling.

Under the hood, there are two powerful engine choices. The upgraded 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel I6 High-Output (H/O) delivers 430 horsepower and an incredible 1,075 lb.-ft. of torque. For those who prefer gasoline, the 6.4-liter (392 cubic-inch) HEMI® V8 offers 405 horsepower and 429 lb.-ft. of torque. Both engines are paired with a column-shifted TorqueFlite HD 8-speed automatic transmission and a fuel-efficient 3.42 rear axle ratio. The 2025 Ram 3500 can tow up to an impressive 36,610 pounds (16,605 kg).
Inside, the 2025 Heavy Duty lineup shines with luxury and technology. The refreshed interior includes the advanced Uconnect 5 system and an available class-leading 14.5-inch touchscreen. Additional high-tech features include a segment-first 10.25-inch passenger screen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a dual wireless phone charging pad. Towing is made easier with a digital rearview mirror and a 360-degree surround-view camera system with trailer reverse guidance.

New safety features also make their debut, including adaptive cruise control, Forward Collision Warning-Plus, and ParkSense front and rear park assist (available on Big Horn and higher trims). Additional driver assistance systems like Drowsy Driver Detection, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Active Lane Management provide extra peace of mind.
For added functionality, the 2025 Ram Heavy Duty offers an on-board power inverter capable of producing up to 2.4 kilowatts, with two covered 110-volt outlets inside the bed — perfect for powering tools at job sites.

With a starting price of $47,560 (including destination) for the Ram 2500, the 2025 Ram Heavy Duty lineup combines power, capability, and innovation. With models already arriving in showrooms, now is the perfect time to check out these impressive heavy haulers.
