Every year, Jeep® heads to Moab, Utah, for the Easter Jeep® Safari (EJS), a legendary off-road gathering that’s part proving ground, part party, and all Jeep. For the 59th edition of this beloved event, the brand has brought out seven wild concept vehicles—and one that really caught my attention is the 2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Rubicon Sunchaser Concept.

This thing is purpose-built for fun in the sun. Whether you’re wheeling through the red rocks or posted up at camp, the Sunchaser is designed to make every part of your day better. Jeep started with the Wrangler Rubicon 4xe—already one of the most capable electrified off-roaders out there—and kicked things up a notch.
To boost trail capability, it gets a 2.0-inch Mopar lift, giving it the clearance it needs to run massive 37-inch BFGoodrich Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tires. That combo gives the Sunchaser serious bite when the going gets rough. High-top vented steel fenders offer more space for articulation and add a rugged, custom look.
Up front, it’s fitted with a Warn winch and a unique winch guard/push bar setup that looks ready to drag you out of any sticky situation. Rock rails along the sides protect the underbody from trail damage, so you can tackle tough lines without worry.
Now let’s talk about gear. On top, there’s a full roof rack loaded with trail and beach essentials. The rear quarter windows have been swapped out for modular storage boxes—definitely concept-only, but they look awesome and speak to the overlanding vibe. While they might limit rear visibility, they drive home the Sunchaser’s role as a support rig for all-day adventure.

Lighting is a major part of this build too. Up top sits a new Mopar Illuminat3 concept pivoting light bar featuring six high-output pods. It’s mounted in a way that won’t interfere with the freedom panels, so you can still open up the top when the sun’s out.
Overall, the Wrangler 4xe Rubicon Sunchaser Concept doesn’t just look cool—it makes sense. It’s packed with gear, capability, and thoughtful touches that show Jeep really understands what owners want out of their rigs. Sure, some of the parts are concepts for now, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see a few of these ideas hit the accessories catalog soon.
