2025 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Recalled for Brake Caliper Bolt Issue

Stellantis (FCA US, LLC) is recalling approximately eight units of its 2025 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid plug-in hybrid (PHEV) minivans because the bolt securing the front brake caliper bracket may not be properly tightened. This could result in reduced steering control, a brake fluid leak, and a loss of front brake function.

The suspect period began on December 19, 2024, when the first vehicle was produced with front caliper bracket bolts not properly torqued, and ended on that same day, when vehicles with properly torqued front caliper bracket bolts were produced. Plant production records and supplier records were used to identify the suspect population.

Recall Chronology – 

  • On February 20, 2025, the FCA US, LLC (FCA US) Technical Safety and Regulatory Compliance (TSRC) organization opened an investigation regarding a potential issue related to front caliper bracket bolts not being properly secured on some 2025 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrids.

  • From February to March 2025, FCA US TSRC worked with FCA engineering and the supplier to understand the customer consequences and determine if any vehicles with suspect front brake caliper brackets had left FCA US control.

  • As of March 13, 2025, FCA US is aware of one warranty claim, dated January 8, 2025, and zero field reports potentially related to this issue across all markets.

  • As of March 13, 2025, FCA US is not aware of any accidents or injuries potentially related to this issue across all markets.

  • On March 20, 2025, FCA US determined, through the Vehicle Regulations Committee, to conduct a voluntary safety recall of the affected vehicles.

Dealers will inspect and replace the front brake caliper brackets and bolts, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed on April 24, 2025. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA’s number for this recall is 27C.
