2024 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T Can Hit Nearly $74K in Canada
Base Price For The R/T Starts At $57,790...
In August, Dodge announced pricing for the 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona lineup in the United States and Canadian markets. Since then, the company has launched the “Build and Price” feature for the Charger Daytona on its U.S. website, and it is now available on its Canadian site as well.
While exploring the Canadian “Build and Price” tool, I configured the base price of a Charger Daytona R/T from $57,790 to just under $74,000 by adding all the available option packages.
Colours –
The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona will be available in seven colours. White Knuckle is the only no-charge colour, while all other options come with a $695 price premium. The available colours are:
Colour | Price |
---|---|
White Knuckle | $0 |
Peel Out | $695 |
Triple Nickel | $695 |
Destroyer Grey | $695 |
Diamond Black | $695 |
Redeye | $695 |
After Dark | $695 |
Bludicrous (late availability) | N/A |
Option Groups –
The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T offers three option groups, each packed with various features. Notably, the Blacktop package is currently listed at $2,005, whereas an invoice from one of our dealer contacts showed it priced at $1,505. This suggests a possible price increase or error on the build and price. The available option groups are:

The Result –
If you check all the option boxes, a Charger Daytona R/T will cost you $73,875 CAD. Compare that with the outgoing 2023 Dodge Challenger R/T, which, while a vastly different car (electric versus internal combustion), the Charger Daytona R/T stands in for it, at least until the gasoline-powered SIXPACK models hit the streets.
Base MSRP | Fully Loaded MSRP | Current Discounts | Fully Loaded with Current Discounts |
---|---|---|---|
2023 Dodge Challenger R/T | $49,390.00 | $70,145.00 | $5,000 Off MSRP |
2024 Dodge Charger Daytona R/T | $57,790.00 | $73,875.00 | N/A |
Fully loaded 2023 Challenger pricing includes the $7,000 T/A package |
While the Charger Daytona is a good-looking car with great lines and a big step up in interior design and materials compared to the outgoing Challenger and Charger, the big question remains: Will consumers pay this pricing for a Dodge electric “muscle” car?
The next question is range. While Dodge hasn’t announced the electric range of the Charger Daytona yet, based on what I saw when I had the opportunity to explore a pre-production model, I believe range will be the next point of contention when numbers are finally released. In their reveal video, Dodge tried to prepare consumers for that, with former Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis saying (paraphrasing here): “Everything we have done is to maximize performance at the expense of efficiency.”
The 2024 Dodge Charger Daytona is slated to arrive at dealerships between late December and mid-January—yes, that’s 2024 models landing in 2025. It won’t be long before we see how the market reacts to the controversial Charger Daytona lineup.
