2022 Dodge Durango R/T Gets The HEMI® Orange Treatment!

Introduced last year, the HEMI® Orange Appearance Package gave the Dodge Charger and Challenger a bold pays homage to the iconic HEMI engine that has powered Dodge muscle cars for decades. Like the distinct orange look of early-era HEMI engines, the HEMI Orange package colors outside the lines to create a unique, orange-and-black combination of accents that transform both exterior and interior.

Now, Dodge has announced that the package will now be available on the 2022 Dodge Durango R/T. The Dodge Durango R/T HEMI Orange stands out with its unique orange and Gunmetal hood stripes, which complement the new-look Midnight Grey and Orange exterior badging. The rear of the vehicle gets a Satin Black taillamp and a set of Black Noise-painted 20-inch aluminum wheels. 

The HEMI Orange is available on all Durango R/T exterior colors, which consist of Destroyer Grey, Diamond Black, Octane Red, and White Knuckle.

Under the hood of the 2022 Dodge Durango R/T HEMI Orange, is the legendary 5.7-liter HEMI V8. The HEMI produces a best-in-class 360 horsepower and 390 lb.-ft. of torque and is mated to a fast-shifting, yet smooth ZF-sourced 8-speed automatic transmission.

The Durango R/T HEMI Orange, features SRT front seats and second-row captain’s chairs, are trimmed in Orange stitching, with a monochromatic Dodge “Rhombi” seatback logo. Orange stitching runs throughout the interior, accenting the instrument panel, door uppers, armrest, center console lid, shifter boot, and leather flat-bottom steering wheel.
 
Two additional HEMI Orange packages will also be available for the Durango R/T: the HEMI Orange Plus Package and HEMI Orange Tow N’ Go Package.

Following in the footsteps of the R/T Plus, the Durango R/T HEMI Orange Plus includes Nappa leather with perforated inserts and accent stitching, sunroof, Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking, 19-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system, and Premium Interior Package (includes premium wrapped instrument panel and Dinamica soft-touch headliner).

The HEMI Orange Tow N’ Go Package is available on Durango R/T AWD. Just like the R/T Tow N’ Go, the HEMI Orange Tow N’ Go Package includes advanced towing features, 20-inch “Lights Out” aluminum wheels, Orange Brembo brakes calipers, Bilstein high-performance suspension, and additional features and content to allow it to have a best-in-class tow rating of 8,700 lbs.

Ordering for the 2022 Dodge Durango R/T HEMI Orange is now available, through your local Dodge dealer. The HEMI Orange has a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $1,995 USD/$2,395 CAD to add the HEMI Orange appearance. Optional HEMI Orange Plus and HEMI Orange Tow N’ Go packages are available at MSRPs of $4,500 USD/$4,995 CAD and $5,095 USD/$5,495 CAD, respectively.
