Chrysler’s New 2021 Pacifica Hits The Streets Showing Off Its New Styling:

Updated Pacifica Has More Aggressive Appearance Than The Outgoing Van...

A lot of people have been questioning the future of the Chrysler brand. However, just a few weeks ago, Chrysler unveiled their updated Chrysler Pacifica for the 2021 model year. The updated 2021 Chrysler Pacifica shows us the next step of Chrysler’s design evolution. Pushing away from the design language that the 2015 to 2017 Chrysler 200 Sedan and current Chrysler Pacifica feature. The new design takes some bolder design cues from the iconic Chrysler 300 Series sedan which gives the Pacifica more presence.

While we have seen the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica in press release photos and under the auto show lights, we have really had yet to see how it looks out on the public road, until now. Our spy photographers have caught a fleet of the new 2021 Chrysler Pacifica models, uncamouflaged and out doing daily testing on the roads of suburban Detroit. The bigger grille and more sporty appearance, are definitely noticeable from long distances. It really isn’t until you see the side profile, that you realize the 2021 model is based on the 2020 vehicle.

The menacing looking 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Limited S AWD in its Brillant Black exterior paint, looks more aggressive than the outgoing Dodge’s 2020 Grand Caravan SXT Blacktop. We would actually be hard-pressed to say that the new 2021 Chrysler Pacifica S models look more like something out of the current Dodge portfolio than the aged Grand Caravan, especially with its new LED signature tail light that runs the width of the back of the vehicle.

The 2021 Chrysler Pacifica’s styling reminds us a lot of the styling of the 2001 to 2007 Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan models. It gives the front of the van a more “jelly-bean” look that is more familiar with the rest of the minivan segment, while the addition of all-wheel-drive (AWD) and state-of-the-art infotainment technology shows us that Chrysler is ready to push away from just the minivan segment and aim at those who are seeking out bigger crossovers like the Chevrolet Traverse and Buick Enclave.
