YouTuber Faces 18 Criminal Charges Over Ram 1500 TRX Antics:

State of Pennsylvania Issues Charges For Antics Done With TRX...

Designed to outperform every other production half-ton pickup on the market, the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX has been the most talked-about pickup of 2021. The performance off-roader has 13-inches of suspension travel as well as a supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI® HELLCAT V8 under its hood pumping out 702 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque. While it features a starting U.S. Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $69,995 (excluding the $1,695 for destination charges), the TRX may be out of the reach of many. But for one YouTuber, money didn’t matter.

Back in January, popular YouTuber Street Speed 717, jumped his brand-new 2021 Ram 1500 TRX over a small creek, and damage ensued. The Ram 1500 TRX, proved that it could still run and drive as normal after the massive landing, despite damage to the front bumper, front shock reservoir mounts, a broken rear window, damaged tailgate, and broken front fenders.

The video currently has about 1.66 million views as of the writing of this article.

Since then, Street Speed 717, has lit the truck on fire, installed massive 44-inch tires on it with some help from some wheel spacers, crushed some cars, and then sold the truck for $20,000 to his “friends” who were supposed to fix it. But then those friends turned around and sold it on Copart for a $42,000 profit. Since then, he has bought another TRX, matching his original one.

To top it all off, in his most recent video, Street Speed 717 explains that the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission has brought 18 criminal charges against him for his viral jump video. Those charges include 2 counts of disturbance of waterways and watersheds, 6 counts of pollution of waters, 6 counts of littering near waters, and 4 counts of running a vehicle in a stream (which you can see in the video below at the 5:35 mark).

In the video, he explains that the video was shot on private property and that the TRX did not like and fuel, oil, or coolant causing damage to the environment or to fish. As for the littering charges, Street Speed 717, denies any of those charges saying he went out there shot his video went home without leaving any kind of garbage behind. Now, the charges aren’t just for the TRX jump, for his series of off-road videos involving the TRX.

“…I think they are trying to throw the book at me because it’s easy and it’s on video or to make an example because it’s a video that got 1.66 million views”, Street Speed 717 said. He also states that he is talking to lawyers to have the issues resolved.

Honestly, I was upset that he wrecked his TRX, and unsubscribed from him, afraid he was going to turn into another whistlindiesel

But I kind of agree with him in that this series of events is an easy thing to pick on. There was debris from the TRX that came off, but it's not clear that he actually picked up every single piece of glass, fender, etc from that area in his video.

Still, it was on private property. It's just the government going crazy over the whole ordeal.

If it is the case why aren't they filing charges against anyone who is involved in an auto accident for leaving debris on the roadway and littering?
