A fisherman’s quick thinking and actions helped save the life of a missing woman in southwest Marion County, Texas.

On Friday morning, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the fisherman reporting a black Jeep Wrangler (JL) submerged about forty feet from the Woody’s Camp boat ramp at Lake O’ the Pines. Deputies arrived at the scene and found a local wrecker service to assist in removing the Jeep from the water.
But to everyone’s surprise, a person was still in the vehicle and moving. With the help of the wrecker service, the fisherman, and the deputies, they safely rescued a female from the submerged Wrangler.
The woman was immediately transported to a local hospital by EMS. During the incident, it was discovered that she was a missing person from the Longview Texas Police Department.

This incident highlights the importance of being vigilant and reporting any suspicious activity or incidents. The fisherman’s quick action and call to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office played a crucial role in saving a life and helping locate a missing person.
