What initially turned into a need for social distancing has now transformed into a home on wheels as more and more people have worked remotely since 2020. These mobile homes now offer the opportunity to explore and travel while working on the go.
Winnebago is one of the most recognized names in the recreation vehicle (RV) industry. Its Solis Pocket® camper van is the brand’s most affordable Class-B option. Designed for life on the go, the Solis Pocket was built with extended-season capability, a flexible floorplan allowing the customer to customize it for relaxing, working, and even socializing.
Sitting on the updated 2023 Ram ProMaster chassis, the Winnebago Solis Pocket provides significant ground clearance, making it easy to maneuver and park with its 136-inch wheelbase.
Powered by the 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 delivering 280 horspower and mated to a 9-speed 948TE automatic transmission, the ProMaster chassis offers front-wheel drive traction, a low step in height, 4-wheel anti-lock brakes system (ABS), and a 180-amp alternator.
The Ram ProMaster chassis cab provides convenience and safety for the Winnebago Solis Pocket, including adjustable seats, airbags, cruise control, power mirrors, door locks, and windows, a radio/rearview monitor system, full-speed forward collision warning plus, pedestrian automatic emergency braking system, and post-collision braking features.
The Solis Pocket offers a versatile living space with a range of amenities, from a sofa, daybed, or love seat, an adjustable/removable table, swivel cab seats, and storage options. A flexible galley with exterior table, stainless steel sink, two-burner cooktop and forward-facing refrigerator, and extended countertop surface for food prep.

Multi-use storage along the dinette sidewall supports remote workers with bottom-hinged storage cabinets for files, laptops or supplies, pockets for storing and charging electronics, and cupholders. While a MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) panel can be used to secure the Pocket’s removable galley storage pack, outdoor gear, or other accessories.
The cross-coach Murphy+ platform bed is set at a higher point to allow bicycle and other gear storage below the bed using the L-track cargo tie- downs and/or MOLLE panel. While a convenient, removable 20 lb propane cylinder is securely located inside the coach for extended-season use, and can be easily filled or exchanged.
The 2023 Winnebago Solis Pocket is available in three exterior colors (Bright White, Deep Cherry, and Ceramic Grey).
The 2023 Solis Pocket has a starting U.S. MSRP of $140,374 from Winnebago. The vehicle shown here is currently in inventory at Colonial RV in Millstone Twp, New Jersey. It is listed for $115,995.
