We Went To Stellantis Design Cars + Coffee – May 2023
Biggest Stellantis Design Car Event Yet!
Yesterday, we had a chance to attend the first Cars + Coffee event hosted by the Stellantis (FCA US) Product Design Office (PDO) in three years. The event was held on the grounds of the former Walter P. Chrysler Museum, located at the Chrysler World Headquarters and Technology Center in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
The event drew such a large crowd that parking was hard to find, resulting in some vehicles having to find alternate parking in a nearby lot.
The FCA US PDO staff brought out three of its most recent concepts to the event: the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT Banshee Concept, the Jeep® Scrambler 392 Concept, and the Jeep Gladiator Sideburn Concept.
However, the event was not limited to specific makes and models. All types of vehicles were welcomed, resulting in a diverse and vibrant gathering. Attendees were treated to a spectacular array of modern-day Mopar muscle cars, European sports cars, classic muscle cars, American classics, and even some incredibly unique custom builds.
Of course, the FCA US design staff were all on hand, checking out everyone’s rides, answering people’s questions about the concepts, and showing off their own rides. And, of course, there was music from DJ Welchi as well. It was a great event that brought several people from all over Michigan, a few from surrounding states, and even some from Ontario, Canada.
As the event drew to a close, it was evident that everyone had a fantastic time, fueling anticipation for the next gathering.
