WATCH: Our Project Dakota R/T Gets A New Front Suspension!

All-New Suspension Components And More To Bring Our Project Truck Into Shape...

We continue to work hard to bring our project 2003 Dodge Dakota R/T back to its former glory. This past week we replaced all the front suspension components save for the springs. We also went ahead and installed a new steering shaft, front drag shocks from Competition Engineering, Energy Suspension sway bar bushings, and much more.

I also decided to tackle our check engine light by replacing an offending O2 sensor and got a pretty big surprise when I took the sensor out. The sensor was completely collapsed on one side, looking as if it had been impacted which leads me to believe my thoughts of the cats being plugged/collapsing are correct. Make sure to watch the video as I’ve never seen anything like that before.

I also finally started to tackle the intake manifold, next week we will go over reinstallation and much more. Make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel so you never miss an episode of our project Dakota R/T. Once I get the truck back into good/safe condition then I can get started on the performance mods or possibly Gen III Hemi swap!
