With the unveiling of the 2022 Jeep® Wagoneer only a few weeks away, many people have reached out to us asking why doesn’t Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) build a full-size Ram SUV? Thanks to the talents of our friend Oscar (also known as wb.artist20), we got a chance to see what a modern-day RamCharger two-door SUV would look like, recently. Now we are getting a look at what if you took a 2021 Ram 1500 TRX and made a full-size four-door SUV.

The Suburban-sized SUV, adds the off-road capability of the recently with the possibility of a three-row configuration. The design extends the massive panoramic sunroof to the third-row and showcases the TRX widebody kit blended into the elongated upper glass. The design makes for an awesome and aggressive looking SUV, that would be a blast in the desert for the entire family.

While larger SUVs are continuing to make a comeback, the RAM brand is focused on the truck and commercial van segment. This leaves the Jeep brand as the exclusive full-size truck-based SUV offering in the FCA portfolio until the next-generation Dodge Durango arrives in the 2023 model year. At that point, it is rumored, that the Durango will join the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer on the Ram 1500-based architecture.

Until that happens, the 2021 Dodge Durango’s “Mid-Cycle-Action” or MCA will hold the performance SUV over while the new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee and its new three-row variant will hold up the E-segment for the FCA portfolio.
