THINK PINK! Jeep® Keeps Tuscadero Color Going For 2022 Wrangler!
But, It Will Be Discontinued At The End Of The Month...
Since the Jeep® brand introduced the limited edition Tuscadero (PHP) exterior color back in August, the high-impact color has accounted for nearly 30,000 orders. This means that the Tuscadero exterior color was the most popular special edition color for the 2021 model year.
Tuscadero is named after the Happy Days character Arthur “Fonzie” Fonzarelli’s girlfriend Carol “Pinky” Tuscadero, a character who was known for her trademark pink outfits and demonstrated by her motto “Think Pink”! Another little Easter egg from the minds in the Stellantis Design Studio.
While pink might be associated as a “female” color, the last pink vehicle from the Chrysler Group was the limited edition “Furious Fuchsia” 2010 Dodge Challenger models, which became highly sought after by both women and men. Matter of fact, Furious Fuchsia is the same color as the Tuscadero as it shares the same paint code.
“We expected Tuscadero to be popular and the customer response has been overwhelmingly strong,” said Jim Morrison, Vice President of Jeep North America. “It’s so popular, we’re extending production into 2022 model-year production to meet strong customer demand. Customers can place an order through December of this year.”
Tuscadero is available on all Wrangler models (Sport, Sahara, Rubicon, 4xe, and Rubicon 392) through the end of the month. The special edition color has a U.S. and Canadian Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of $395.
