Check Out This 1 Of 1 Dodge Charger Daytona Going To Auction

The Only Daytona Produced In This Color Combination...

We already discussed just how special the special-order 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona painted in Omaha Orange was, which is going up for auction later this week. But now, the car we are discussing today is the only one of 503 units produced painted in factory Yellow (Y2) exterior paint, Saddle interior, and a Black Daytona wing and stripe.

Powered by the 7.2-liter (440 cubic-inch) MAGNUM V8, this 375 horsepower monster is mated to a 3-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission. Equipped with the A32 Super Performance Axle Package, this Daytona featured a heavy-duty Dana 60 Sure-Grip differential with a 4.10 rear axle ratio. The MAGNUM is fitted with a Carter carburetor tucked beneath a Black air cleaner, cast manifolds, and rumbles through chrome rear tips. The is also fitted with power steering and power brakes, some true luxury features of the time.

Highlighting the exterior are chrome Charger emblems mounted on the C-pillars and rear panel, plus the flip-open gas cap and a set of five-spoke Magnum 500 road wheels with redline tires serving as its final accent.

Inside, the Saddle interior is richly optioned, including the center console with chrome shift handle, performance dash with 150 MPH speedometer and Tic-Toc-Tach, three-spoke sport wheel, headrest bucket seats, an AM radio, and pedal chrome surrounds.

This car is documented by a broadcast sheet, is listed in the Chrysler Registry, and will be sold with an owner’s manual.

According to Mecum, the auction house predicts that this car could take in as much as $375,000 to $425,000.
