With the arrival of the Ram 2500 Power Wagon to the Mexican market, the Ram brand is evolving its lineup of pickups as the leading off-road pickup brand in Mexico. The Power Wagon will join the Ram 1500 Big Horn Crew Cab 4×4 Off-Road and Ram 1500 TRX to round out the Mexican lineup.

Ram 2500 Power Wagon –

2023 Ram 2500 Power Wagon. (Ram).
Historically, the Power Wagon was the first off-road pickup. Launched in 1945 and with more than 75 years of experience in the Heavy Duty off-road segment, the 2500 Power Wagon offers a rough and functional exterior, combining equipment such as the special fascial coating that prevents wear, the navigation lights, the performance chest with air intakes along with the Power Wagon adhesives and a two-tone exterior in red and black colors. With specialized equipment in off-road activities, the WARN® ZEON-12 electronic winch is included in this special edition, which combines lightness and high resistance when equipping a synthetic rope. The 17-inch black wheels finish off with off-road tires ready for the Off-Road. In addition, Power Wagon integrates Bilstein® gas-charged shock absorbers designed to achieve maximum tire adhesion on any road.

The Ram 2500 Power Wagon integrates a 12-inch high-definition instrument cluster. This screen has full-color 3rd dimension graphics, with real-time vehicle customization and statistics, all within the driver’s visibility area so as not to take your eyes off the road. Ram 2500 Power Wagon has the Uconnect5 system with a 12-inch touchscreen.

Ram 2500 Power Wagon has the powerful 6.4-liter (392 cubic-inch) HEMI® V8 “BGE” gasoline engine that delivers a leading power and torque in its class of 410 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 429 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,000 rpm.

Only 50 units of the Power Wagon will be produced for the Mexican market.

Ram 1500 Big Horn 4×4 Off-Road –

The Ram 1500 Big Horn 4×4 Off-Road incorporates a black grille to the front, darkened headlights, and black drag hooks. On the sides, mirrors and handles in the color of the body, 20-inch wheels in black, tubular stirrups in black, and 4×4 Off-Road decals on the sides of the raft. On the back, double exhaust outlet and a Ram emblem in black.

Inside, Ram 1500 Big Horn 4×4 Off-Road incorporates the 8.4-inch touch screen and the cluster with a 7-inch TFT screen that houses the information system (fuel economy, alerts, safety information, equipment, navigator information, among other things) in which the user can select what information he wants to see in the different sections of the screen while driving. The screen has high-definition and 3D animated graphics. In addition to having the most spacious cabin in the segment, the second row of seats maintains a sliding bench with 8 degrees of recline (unique in its segment) and the best leg distance in the category with 45.1 inches. A real flat floor provides greater internal comfort and practicality. Under the seats, a gap of 20 liters can be increased to 40 liters with the rear bench folded upwards. Finally, two RamBin containers on the flat floor allow you to store objects safely.

Ram 1500 Big Horn 4×4 Off-Road offers a suspension with an additional inch of height, shock absorbers with Off-Road calibration, electronic rear differential, protective plates for the underbody, front suspension, steering, and gasoline tank, and slope descent control (this electronic system helps maintain control of the vehicle during steep slopes, especially on slippery surfaces or off the road. It is designed to maintain the speed and stability of the vehicle on slopes at speeds of 30 km/h or 18.5 mph or less).

Ram 1500 Big Horn 4×4 Off-Road incorporates the 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 engine with 395 horsepower and 410 lb.-ft. of torque with the e-Torque mild-hybrid system coupled to a TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission with greater efficiency. The e-Torque system combines a belt-driven motor-generator with a 48-volt battery pack, which manages the start/stop functions, short-lived torque delivery, and the braking energy recovery system. The e-Torque system adds up to 130 lb.-ft. to the HEMI.

Ram 1500 TRX –

2023 Ram 1500 TRX. (Ram).
Ram 1500 TRX is the “alpha predator” of the pickup world, consolidating the brand’s leadership in the market. Built inch by inch to significantly surpass any other production pickup, the Ram 1500 TRX has been designed to overcome the most demanding conditions with an extreme resistance capacity. Its strong performance, a leader in its segment, is achieved in part thanks to its 702 horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI® HELLCAT V8. This stratospheric power provides a new level of performance: it goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds, makes the quarter mile in 12.9 seconds at 174 km/h (108 mph), and reaches a maximum speed of 190 km/h (118 mph).

Ram 1500 TRX has luxurious interiors of premium materials, incredible attention to detail, comfort and running quality leaders in its segment, and a superior level of refinement and sophistication, raising the reference levels in terms of performance, durability, power, technology, and comfort with elements never offered in a pickup.

The outstanding quality of handling and maneuverability is achieved thanks to a new suspension made up of high-quality components, which have been calibrated to stand out on high-speed journeys on desert terrain. The Ram TRX boasts a ground clearance of 11.8 inches thanks, above all, to an increase in height of 2 inches compared to the rest of the Ram 1500 models. This figure, in combination with the 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory All-Terrain 325/65/R1 tires, enables the TRX to face uneven terrain at high speed.

It’s luxurious and spacious interior exhibits authentic materials, first-class colors, and textures, including leather-clad instrument panels, which provide unexpected luxury in a model of its nature. The Uconnect infotainment system’s massive 12-inch touchscreen marks a before and after in its segment. It can divide the screen into two halves, a 360-degree view camera, and exclusive content. Active and passive safety systems include adaptive cruise control, frontal collision warning, blind spot monitoring, and emergency braking alert.
