Maserati Teases Its Upcoming MC20 Super Car Once Again:

New Images Of Mule Hit The Internet...

The Maserati brand is at it again, teasing the public by releasing some blurry photos of its all-new Maserati MC20 super sports car. This time, the premium Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) brand is showing some quick images of the new car at night in Piazza Degli Affari in Milan, below Maurizio Cattelan’s sculpture L.O.V.E. (basically a middle-finger, flipping everyone off), which is known as a symbol of Italian audacity in international contemporary art.

According to our sources, the new chassis is made of a mid-engine carbon fiber monocoque that features front and rear aluminum subframes. This alone puts this car against the like of McLaren and Ferrari. The engine will be developed by the Maserati Research and Development center but looks to be a further evolution of the 90-degree V6 design, used by the current Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stelvio Quadrifoglio.

While the Alfa Romeo Quadrifoglio models produce 505 horsepower with their twin-turbo application (the recent introduction of the Alfa Romeo GTA has shown us a 540 horsepower variant of the engine) our sources are stating that Maserati is preparing for something more potent. Our sources are stating that this engine could have up to 625 horsepower and will feature Twin Spark technology. We can tell you that this car will not be the only one to use the 625 horsepower V6 engine.

The latest pictures to show us a sneak peek of the rear styling of the car, that hasn’t been shown before. While the new camouflage wrap wears the new Maserati MC20 logo in its design.

Maserati has said that it plans to keep teasing the public with photos of the MC20 test mule as it visits other iconic locations across Italy. The Maserati MC20 will make its official debut in May of this year.
