The recent launch of the all-new Ram Rampage compact pickup has taken the Brazilian automotive industry by storm, surpassing the remarkable success of previous Ram models. Even before hitting the showroom floors, the Rampage has generated an uproar, earning its name as a formidable force in the market. The online pre-sale of the initial batch of 500 units sold out within a mere 28 minutes, while an additional 1,100 requests were accepted due to overwhelming demand.

Prospective buyers were required to deposit R$ 1,000 (or about $208 USD). Furthermore, due to the overwhelming response, an additional 1,100 requests were accepted, with customers fortunate enough to receive the Elite Pack, a package of three optional items at no extra charge. The Elite Pack includes the Harman Kardon® premium sound system, a passenger seat with 12-way electrical adjustments, and internal ambient LED lighting. Normally priced at R$ 6,000 (or about $1,250 USD), this complimentary upgrade further enhances the luxury and convenience of the Rampage.

The Rampage boasts the title of South America’s most powerful and fastest pickup truck ever produced. Equipped with the Hurricane4 gasoline turbo engine, generating 272 horsepower and 400 Nm (295 lb.-ft.) of torque, the Rampage R/T accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 6.9 seconds, with a top speed of 136 mph. Additionally, the Rebel and Laramie versions offer the option of 170 horsepower and 380 Nm (280 lb.-ft.) Multijet turbo diesel engine.

The Rampage is the only South American production pickup truck to include a comprehensive package of driving aid resources as standard equipment. This package encompasses Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Stop & Go function, frontal collision alert with Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), pedestrian and cyclist recognition, blind-spot monitoring (BSM), rear cross path detection, Lane Keep Assist (LKA), seven airbags, and ventilated disc brakes on all four wheels. These advanced safety features ensure the well-being of both drivers and passengers, setting a new benchmark in the region.

Rampage prioritizes technology and connectivity with its 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment touchscreen. This high-resolution touchscreen display integrates wireless mirroring for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, allowing seamless smartphone integration. Additionally, the system includes embedded navigation, providing drivers with intuitive and user-friendly access to essential information and entertainment features.
