A one-of-a-kind 1970 Dodge Challenger, known as “Havoc,” is set to go under the hammer at Mecum Glendale on Saturday, March 22, 2025. Built by Rides by Kam in Varsity Lakes, Australia, this stunning vehicle is the result of an impressive three-year, 10,000-hour build. Featuring top-tier craftsmanship and performance, “Havoc” has earned accolades, including the Top Judged Elite award at the Great Meguiar’s Uncover at Summernats 32 in January 2019.

Under the hood, “Havoc” houses a 9.4-liter (572 cubic-inch) all-aluminum HEMI® V8 engine, built by Stanton Racing Engines. This powerhouse engine is paired with an F3 ProCharger centrifugal supercharger, boasting upgraded bores, race-spec valves, and cylinder heads. It’s complemented by a 120mm throttle body, 2200cc injectors, and a painted engine bay. This performance-driven setup is backed by a Tremec Magnum T56 6-speed manual transmission, with a twin-plate ceramic clutch ensuring smooth shifts.

The car’s exterior is as striking as its engine, with a custom PPG Charley Hutton paint job applied by CAD Custom of Melbourne, Australia, and a matte clear underbody. Inside, the interior is equally impressive, featuring brown diamond-stitched leather upholstery, Holden Commodore VF bucket seats, and Simpson racing harnesses. Custom LED accents and Dakota Digital red-backlit gauges further enhance the car’s modern yet classic vibe, while a flush-mounted iPad adds high-tech flair.

The custom build also includes a hand-built steel hood, NASCAR-spec steering rack, and a Roadster Shop 9-inch differential with double A-arm front suspension and independent rear suspension. Airbag suspension ensures a smooth ride, while 6-piston Baer brakes and a Wilwood master cylinder provide superior stopping power. “Havoc” rides on American Legend Blackhawk wheels and Mickey Thompson tires, ensuring both performance and style.

This Challenger is truly a work of art, blending cutting-edge technology with vintage muscle car design. Its one-off build and unmatched attention to detail make it a standout at the Mecum Glendale auction.
