Ram Fires Back At Ford’s Announcement About New Raptor Unveiling:

Fast & Furious Quote Gets Attention On Twitter...

On Friday, Ford Motor Company announced that it would be unveiling its all-new 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor Wednesday. The debut of Ford’s newest performance off-roader will be particularly interesting considering that this will be the first production year that Ford will have direct competition with the recently launched 2021 Ram 1500 TRX.

While Ford has dominated the full-size pickup market, the Ram Truck brand has made it clear that it has Ford in its crosshairs. The recent launch of the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX has been an important piece of the puzzle to taking on the blue-oval brand and now with rumors circling that Ford will be offering two variants of the Raptor with a standard twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 model and a supercharged V8 option with its rumored Raptor R offering, the truck industry is all eyes on the two brands.

With the announcement of the unveiling on social media accounts, it didn’t take long for the Ram Truck brand to post a comment on the Ford page asking “Pop the hood”. The famous reference from the movie “The Fast and the Furious” when Paul Walker tells Vin Diesel to open the hood of his wrecked Toyota Supra got a lot of feedback in the comments.

This wasn’t the only social media battle between the Ram brand and another pickup automaker. Ram battled back and forth to General Motors’ GMC brand over the launch of the Multifunction Tailgate last year. Both truck makers have multipurpose tailgates and had no problem dishing out the punches over a week period.

Stay tuned as we will be comparing the all-new 2021 Ford F-150 Raptor and Ram 1500 TRX, as soon as the official details are dropped.

Ram and Dodge are more then capable to put a redeye or demon and most likely the hellephant in the trx but its a matter of making it street legal.

The Ram 1500 is already 48V capable. This opens a door to leading edge intake boost technology. They could install a 48V transfer case while they are at it. TRX stands for Thirsty Ram Xpress.

I don't know about the red eye. Might end up with a black eye. Lol. K.O.

I just wish pick up trucks came back as single cab. And strip of all electronics like back in the day. And still make power. Now you need to mortgage your house company and leave your wife to buy a pick up. Lol.
