VIDEO: Watch This 2019 Dodge Challenger 1320 Take Down A Tesla Model 3 Performance:

And It's All For A Good Cause...

The Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack 1320 is an impressive street-to-strip muscle car that, in a short time, has proven, in the right conditions, to best the 11.7-second quarter-mile time advertised by Dodge easily. Earlier this month, Tommy Barron, who has an Indigo Blue 2019 Challenger 1320, met up with Brooks, founder of the Dragtimes website and Dragtimes Youtube channel to race against Brooks’ Tesla Model 3 Performance.

As a previous owner of a Challenger 1320, I have talked to Tommy a few times on Facebook groups, and he has seen some impressive results with his 1320. As a matter of fact, he currently holds the record for fastest stock record for a Challenger 1320, running an 11.30 @ 119.43 miles an hour back on November 3rd at the Modern Street Hemi Shootout, with nothing other than the passenger and rear seats removed and some Demon front runners with skinnies.

Unfortunately, there is a sad side to the story. Tommy and his wife Carly lost their young daughter, Peyton, to cancer in late 2017. Peyton was a huge fan of Challengers and going fast, so Tommy and Carly bought their Indigo Blue Challenger 1320 to race and raise money for their non-profit charity Slicks Of Hope.  Slicks Of Hope is a non-profit charity that Tommy and Carly have set up to raise funds for pediatric cancer research. They have also set up a YouTube channel that can be seen here.

To see how Tommy’s 1320 did against Brooks’ Model 3 Performance, along with some great commentary, check out the video above by our friend R/T life.
