In an unexpected turn of events, leaked dealer documents on JLWranglerForums.com have uncovered plans for a limited 2024 Jeep® Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 392 Final Edition. Dealerships must meet specific sales criteria to secure an allocation for this farewell model, which promises to be the most capable, quickest, and most powerful Wrangler yet.
Over the weekend, Jeep further fueled anticipation by sharing a sneak peek at a special bronze information plate destined for the Rubicon 392’s tailgate, proudly emblazoned with the words ‘Final Edition,’ on its social media pages.
The Rubicon 392, which made a surprising return for 2024, has not only undergone cosmetic changes but also received several new standard features. These include the Xtreme 35 Package, acoustic front glass, thicker carpet, additional sound-deadening foam, and luxurious 12-way power-adjustable front seats.
Powering this beast is a formidable 6.4-liter (392 cubic-inch) HEMI® V8 engine, delivering an impressive 470 horsepower and 470 lb.-ft. of torque. Paired with an 8-speed TorqueFlite 8HP75 automatic transmission and Selec-Trac® full-time active transfer case, the Rubicon 392 accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds and conquers the quarter-mile in 13 seconds flat.
As the anticipation builds for the Rubicon 392 Final Edition, enthusiasts are speculating on what to expect.
