FIAT Looks To Rebrand Another Stellantis Pickup...

Fiat is set to continue to dominace in the Brazilian pickup truck market with its latest offering—the 2024 Fiat Titano. Scheduled to be initially released in Uruguay before arriving in Brazil, the Titano is poised to make its mark.

The 2024 Fiat Titano will be available in four trim variants: Endurance, Freedom, Volcano, and Ranch. The Endurance version is expected to be the sole manual option, emphasizing a more hands-on driving experience. The Freedom trim, in addition to the automatic transmission, might also offer a manual option. Meanwhile, the Volcano and Ranch variants will exclusively feature the automatic transmission.

Under the hood, the Titano will boast a robust 2.2-liter BlueHDI Turbo Diesel engine, generating an impressive 200 horsepower and a torque of 332 lb.-ft. of torque. Paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission, this powertrain is designed to deliver exceptional performance both on and off the road. The standard four-wheel drive (4×4) capability ensures that the Titano is prepared to conquer various terrains, catering to adventurers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.

The Fiat Titano presents an alluring and rugged design, characterized by its distinctive front grille. Diverging from its cousin, the Peugeot Landtrek, the Titano’s grille features a wide frame divided into four horizontal sections, each adorned with captivating 3D elements. The first three sections incorporate six vents per side, flanking the prominent Fiat nameplate in the center. The final section adds a touch of openness with strategically placed fillets.

The front end is crowned by full LED headlights, which, in the higher-tier variants, feature integrated daytime running lights (DRLs) reminiscent of the saber tooth design from the Landtrek. The rear of the vehicle, while partially camouflaged, will prominently display the Fiat logo and the unmistakable “Titano” name.

With dimensions measuring approximately 210 inches in length, 76 inches in width, and 74 inches in height, the Titano offers ample space and comfort for both occupants and cargo. Its wheelbase of around 125 inches ensures a stable and composed ride, even when tackling challenging terrain. The pickup’s practicality extends to its payload capacity, boasting an impressive 2,200 lbs. of hauling capability. Furthermore, the Titano shines in the towing department with a remarkable capacity of 7,720 lbs., making it an ideal choice for individuals seeking a dependable and robust vehicle for their hauling needs.

Inside the cabin, the 2024 Fiat Titano reflects a familiar theme, drawing inspiration from the Peugeot Landtrek. The steering wheel has been updated with a new airbag cover adorned with the Fiat logo, contributing to a sense of brand identity. The center console houses a 10.1-inch multimedia screen, while the instrument cluster embraces a 100% digital display for an enhanced driving experience. The presence of airplane-style air controls adds a touch of uniqueness to the interior layout. Notably, air vents positioned on the sides and center ensure efficient cabin ventilation.
