Ram Updates Its Uconnect Lineup For The Heavy Duty Pickup:

Adds More Options For New Buyers...

Even though the 2019 Ram Heavy Duty models just starting showing up on dealer lots not too long ago, it isn’t stopping Ram Trucks from updating the lineup. Recently, our sister site 5thGenRams.com revealed that the 2019 Ram 1500 (as well as the new 2020 Ram 1500) models are now offering the 12-inch Uconnect touchscreen infotainment system on Big Horn/Lone Star models. Well, Ram has just dropped a bunch of new Uconnect news for its Heavy Duty lineup, so let’s see what’s new for the Ram 2500/3500 lineups…

2019 Ram Heavy Duty 8.4-inch Uconnect Touchscreen System. (Ram).

Starting off with the entry-level Tradesman model, the 8.4-inch Uconnect touchscreen (UAM) will be available for the first time. It will add an additional $795 US MSRP to the Tradesman and does require the addition of the Tradesman Level 1 or Level 2 packages.

The Big Horn/Lone Star models are also getting the 12-inch Uconnect infotainment system (UAX) just like its Ram 1500 counterpart. The large 12-inch touchscreen will set you back $1,995 US MSRP and does require the Big Horn Level 2 equipment group.

The 12-inch Uconnect touchscreen system is also being added to a number of equipment packages as an option. Power Wagon buyers will now be available to order the system on Power Wagon Level 1 equipped trucks for $1,995 US MSRP. Until now, it was only available on the Power Wagon Level 2 group. Laramie buyers also had to order the Level 1 or Level 2 package, to order the 12-inch Uconnect. But now, Ram is opening it up to all Laramie and Laramie Longhorn models. Price on the base Laramie is $1,995 US MSRP and $1,295 US MSRP on the base Laramie Longhorn models.

The changes are now available for ordering at your local Ram Truck dealer.
