The technology news and lifestyle website “Digital Trends”, has released their list of “Best Family Cars for 2019”. Among the list are two Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) vehicles. One of which wasn’t a surprise, the Chrysler Pacifica minivan. But also joining the Pacifica was the performance-oriented Dodge Durango SRT.
Digital Trends tested vehicles through a scrutinizing process to determine which family vehicles had the best qualities of the exterior and interior looks and then judging them based on their expertise and experience in the context of the vehicle’s category and price range. Of course, they also looked at entertainment technology as well as safety technologies used in the vehicles to determine their winners.
The Chrysler Pacifica took home the title in the “Best Car for Large Families”, while the Dodge Durango SRT won in the “Best Performance Family Car” category.
“The Pacifica proves that minivans are still the best option for buyers who need to haul a lot of people or stuff,” Digital Trends said. “The Dodge Durango SRT shows that family cars can be fun and quick. Aside from its awesome HEMI® power, the Durango SRT also ticks practical family-car boxes.”
The Chrysler Pacifica continues its title as the most award-winning minivan ever, while the Dodge Durango SRT has been making a lot of award list since its debut in 2018.
