PRETTY IN PINK: 2021 Jeep® Wrangler Officially Gets New Pink Tuscadero Color:

Available On Every Wrangler Trim-Level...

Two weeks after we told you the Jeep® brand was bringing a new pink high-impact color to the lineup, the American adventure brand has made it official with an announcement yesterday afternoon. The new color called Tuscadero (named after Fonzie’s girlfriend “Pinkie” on the classic TV sitcom “Happy Days”, marks the fourth high-impact color to break its way into the iconic Wrangler’s color palette this year.

While Jeep claims that the new Tuscadero is a “deep and intense chromatic magenta”, the color is actually the same color as the limited production “Furious Fuchsia” that ran on the 2010 Dodge Challenger R/T and SRT8 models.

The color is a lot different in person than what the promotion material suggests it is. While the Jeep promotion material shows a vivid almost “neon” pink color, the actual color can be seen in the photos we were supplied with, from one of our readers who works at the Toledo Assembly Complex.

Ordering for the new color is now open for dealers and is available on all Wrangler trims (with the exception of those models equipped with the “Dual Door Group” which includes the new half-doors). This availability includes all 4xe and Rubicon 392 models.

“With the Jeep brand celebrating its 80th anniversary, it’s the perfect time to launch a confident and custom color on the most iconic Jeep vehicle – both of which are designed to break the mold and stand out on the road and trails,” said Jim Morrison, Vice President, Jeep Brand North America. “What’s unique about colors like Tuscadero is that they draw a huge enthusiast following because they’re exciting, authentic, and stand out, much like the Jeep community.”

The Tuscadero (PHP) exterior color is only for a limited time (until November 2021). It will set customers back $395 in the U.S. While it is planned to hit the Canadian market, no official announcement or pricing has been released for Canada.

For those who were fans of the Gecko Green (PFM) exterior color on the Wrangler, August is the last chance you have to order the color before it disappears. The color will continue on Gladiator models until November.

So what do you think of the new Tuscadero exterior color? Would you order one? Let us know in the comments below or in the MoparInsiders.com forums.

It’s encouraging to see Ram testing what appears to be a quality product that is desperately needed in North America. What is the problem tapping into a Brazilian developed truck for North America? Why have a Stellantis facility of this level of sophistication if their best efforts are not considered in a market where it is desperately needed and at a very reasonable cost to tweak it for US Standards.
This Rampage is a no brainer if Ram engineers can go over every inch with a fine tooth comb. Time to act.

Picture this: Ford is Lucy, the Football is the Ford Maverick, and the Consumer is Charlie Brown. Good grief!

I hope Ram would offer a base trim with the Pacifica plugin hybrid system. A simple front driver like what the Ford Maverick alleged to offer.

Picture this. We are going to visit the Wizard of Oz and the Wizard is the head of Ram and the Rampage is the Good Witch. The Tin Man is the manager at Ram delaying production in his quest to find a brain. Along comes Dorothy who coincidentally is from Brazil not Kansas after all and she is accompanied by the Good Witch. The Wicked Witch is Ford and the Cowardly Lion is Stellantis. Question, do we get our Red Ram slippers back in time to capture the small truck market? Only the Scare Crow knows for sure. Now everyone click your heals three times.
