Ram Is Kicking Up Sand In New Teaser For Hellcat-Powered TRX:

Performance Off-Roader Will Debut On Monday...

The RAM brand has released another teaser of its upcoming performance-based off-roader, the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX, before its unveiling this coming Monday, August 17th. Dubbed “Sandstorm”, the 25-second teaser shows us that the all-new Hellcat-powered off-roader has no problem playing in the sandy terrain.

It makes sense to us since we saw several Ram 1500 TRX prototypes hit the dunes last year at Silver Lake Sand Dunes near Mears, Michigan, on the state’s west coast. The TRX is Ram’s answer to the Ford F-150 Raptor and an important piece of the pickup truck puzzle for the Ram Truck brand to directly take on Ford for the No. 1 spot in the pickup market. Since Ram has taken over the No. 2, they have made it no secret they are aiming for Ford’s jugular.

For those who can’t wait to see the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX, we recently showed off leaked images of the TRX without camouflage. The pictures showed us the specific looks that the Ram 1500 TRX will feature like a widebody kit, a unique grille, performance hood, and flared bedside. Inside, the TRX will get huge paddle shifters, a center column-mounted shifter, performance seats, and additional technology features that will join the other models of 2021 Ram 1500 lineup.

The unveiling is scheduled for Monday, August 17th at 12:00 p.m. EST on RamTrucks.com and the Ram Trucks Facebook page. MoparInsiders.com will also be streaming the event live as well and will be releasing all the details of the new 2021 Ram 1500 TRX throughout the day.
