In an ever-evolving automotive landscape, Stellantis continues to redefine the driving experience with its cutting-edge Uconnect 5 system, catering to a wide range of vehicle brands, including Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, Ram, Wagoneer, Fiat, and Alfa Romeo. This innovative system, driven by the Android operating system, introduces a host of new features and services to meet the growing demand for an enhanced user experience (UX).

Off-Road Adventures Made Easy –

For adventure seekers and off-road enthusiasts, select 2024 model-year vehicles equipped with Uconnect 5 NAV and Jeep Connect or Wagoneer Connect now boast two new features: Adventure Guides and GPS Trail Logs. These tools simplify the process of finding off-road trails and navigating them with confidence. Whether you’re driving a 2024 Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer, Jeep Wrangler, or Grand Cherokee, these features are designed to enhance your outdoor experiences.

Adventure Guides provide access to over 200 off-road trail guides, including all Jeep® Badge of Honor Trails. These guides help you easily plan your next adventure, offering information like difficulty ratings, waypoints, photos, highlights, and more. You can even download maps in advance, ensuring you’re well-prepared for your journey.

GPS Trail Logs allow you to mark waypoints, obstacles, and points of interest during your off-road adventures. These details can be recorded directly from the built-in Uconnect 5 touchscreen and further enhanced through the Jeep smartphone app. Plus, GPS functionality allows you to navigate confidently, even in areas with no Wi-Fi or cellular service.

Electrifying the Future –

As the automotive industry embraces electrification, Stellantis doesn’t lag behind. The 2024 Alfa Romeo Tonale and Dodge Hornet, part of the hybrid and battery-electric vehicle lineup, come standard with Uconnect 5. Likewise, the Maserati GranTurismo and Grecale come equipped with the Maserati Intelligent Assistant. These vehicles offer connected services that inform owners about their vehicle’s remaining charge.

With features like Dynamic Range Mapping, these systems calculate and visually display your range based on the vehicle’s state of charge. The system alerts you and lists nearby charging stations if a recharge is needed along the route. You can manage charging schedules through the touchscreen or your vehicle brand’s mobile app.

Fleet Management Simplified –

Fleet managers will find Stellantis’s Fleet Connect feature invaluable. It enables them to enroll their vehicles in connected services efficiently, making fleet maintenance and management more seamless. Rental car companies, for instance, can leverage an API to expedite vehicle check-in and check-out processes, streamlining their operations.

Enhanced Connected Services –

  • Vehicle Performance Package offers vehicle health reports, over-the-air (OTA) software updates, and more.
  • Assistance and Navigation Packages for Alfa Romeo owners, including remote vehicle operations, connected traffic and travel services, OTA map updates, and Skills for Alexa.

Connected services such as remote operations, drive alerts, and navigation may require a trial or subscription.

Stellantis has been at the forefront of delivering Over-The-Air (OTA) updates to vehicles. The Emergency Vehicle Alert System (EVAS), powered by HAAS Alert’s Safety Cloud, was first introduced as an OTA update for select 2018 and newer models. This feature enhances safety by delivering real-time hazard data directly to drivers from emergency vehicles and other sources.

Furthermore, Uconnect 5 NAV-equipped vehicles from 2022 to 2024 will receive an enhanced Alexa Built-In experience. This includes visual feedback on connected Smart Home devices and appliances, dynamic visual feedback in response to voice requests via the Uconnect 5 touchscreen, and enhanced security measures to protect customer privacy.

Expect even more exciting features and improvements via OTA updates in the second half of 2023, ensuring that your vehicle remains at the cutting edge of technology.

Whether you’re an off-road enthusiast, an electric vehicle owner, or a fleet manager, Stellantis has designed its offerings to elevate your vehicle ownership experience. With continuous innovation and updates, Stellantis ensures that your vehicle remains at the forefront of technology and convenience.
