Stewart & Hagan Ready to Battle at Vegas Four-Wide Nationals
TSR Duo Aims For Victory and Momentum at NHRA’s Fourth Stop of 2025

The desert’s about to get even hotter as the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals roll into The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, marking the fourth stop on the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series. The TSR Nitro teams of Tony Stewart and Matt Hagan, are geared up and ready to throw down on the sport’s only four-lane dragstrip west of the Mississippi.
Tony Stewart: Seeking First Top Fuel Win in Vegas –

Fresh off a runner-up finish at the Winternationals, Tony Stewart enters Las Vegas fifth in the Top Fuel points standings, 100 points behind leader Shawn Langdon. While he’s still chasing his first Top Fuel victory, Stewart’s comfort and history at Vegas are undeniable.
“The consistency means the most to me at this point,” said Stewart. “We’ve laid the groundwork to start pushing for more speed, and Vegas is the perfect place to take that next step.”
Stewart will pilot the Rayce Rudeen Foundation Top Fuel Dragster, honoring the mission of combating addiction and supporting families affected by fentanyl abuse. The organization hits home for Stewart and his wife Leah Pruett, both deeply invested in spreading awareness.
“It’s a terrible substance wreaking havoc in our world. What the Rudeen family is doing to honor Rayce and help others is truly incredible,” said Stewart. “I’m proud to carry their name.”
Vegas has been a special venue for Stewart in nearly every form of motorsports. From his 1997 IndyCar championshipto wins on the Bullring, Dirt Track, and now the drag strip, he’s found victory at every facility on the property.
Matt Hagan: Aiming to Continue Funny Car Dominance –

Matt Hagan is heading into the weekend with momentum after jumping from seventh to third in the Funny Car standings thanks to a strong showing at Pomona. Now, the four-time Funny Car champion is hungry to add another Vegas trophy to his already loaded collection.
Driving the Direct Connection Dodge//SRT HELLCAT Funny Car, Hagan is well acquainted with success in Sin City. He has four Vegas fall wins and was victorious at the 2023 Four-Wide Nationals, defeating the likes of Tim Wilkerson and John Force.
“Vegas has always been a great track for us,” said Hagan. “I’m excited to get out there in the Direct Connection Dodge and keep the momentum going. Four-wide is a wild ride, but we’re ready.”
Hagan holds a streak of winning at least one event per season for 12 straight years, the longest active streak in the NHRA pro classes. With three previous No. 1 qualifiers at Vegas, he’s now gunning for his first No. 1 start in the four-lane format.
Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge Adds Saturday Stakes –
Both Stewart and Hagan will be featured in the Mission #2Fast2Tasty Challenge—a fan-favorite addition that adds bonus racing action to Saturday’s qualifying. Stewart faces Doug Kalitta, while Hagan goes head-to-head with Blake Alexander in Round 1. The winners advance to the finals during Q4 for extra purse money and Countdown to the Championship bonus points.
