Stellantis Will Have Only One Unveiling At NAIAS In Detroit
Jeep® Brand Is The Only Brand That Will Be Making News In Detroit...
The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit, Michigan is set to showcase the latest innovations from the Detroit Big-3 automakers over two days. Ford will take the lead with the unveiling of its highly anticipated new F-150, while General Motors (GM) and Stellantis also have exciting reveals in store.
Contrary to expectations, Dodge, known for its high-performance vehicles, has no official announcements on the docket for their next-gen e-muscle cars. Instead, it’s the Jeep® brand that will take center stage as the sole representative from Stellantis.
Last year, enthusiasts anticipated updates on the electrified Jeep® Recon and Wagoneer S models, with pre-orders slated for this year, but these launches were postponed. Instead, we were introduced to the Wrangler Unlimited Willys 4xe and the Grand Cherokee 4xe 30th Anniversary Edition.
This year, we might catch a glimpse of a more refined version of the Wagoneer S and Recon. However, it’s more likely that the spotlight will be on the 2024 Jeep® Gladiator (JT) with its anticipated updates, including a fresh grille design, enhanced instrument panel, upgraded power seats, and a revamped Uconnect technology. While it’s uncertain whether a Gladiator 4xe variant will be unveiled, there’s a strong possibility considering the phase-out of the EcoDiesel powertrain. Jeep has committed to offering electrified versions of all its vehicles by 2025, making an announcement of this nature quite plausible.
For those eager to witness these unveilings, you can catch the livestream right here on MoparInsiders.com. And rest assured, we’ll be on the ground in Detroit, providing comprehensive coverage of the event. So stay tuned for all the exciting updates!
