Stellantis to Invest $41 Million in New Mopar Parts Hub in Georgia
Advanced Automation and Nearly 90 UAW Jobs Highlight Major Move

Stellantis is doubling down on its commitment to better serve Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep®, Ram, Alfa Romeo, and FIAT owners across the Southeastern U.S. The automaker just announced a more than $41 million investment to build a state-of-the-art Mopar Parts Distribution Center (PDC) in Forsyth, Georgia.
A Major New Facility –

The new facility will span approximately 422,000 square feet, equivalent to the size of seven football fields, and is situated roughly 60 miles south of Atlanta. Once operational, the site will serve as a critical hub in Stellantis’ parts supply chain, enabling dealerships and customers to obtain replacement parts, accessories, and service items faster than ever before.
This investment will also support approximately 90 UAW-represented jobs, a boost for local workers and their families. The company states that its goal is not only to expand its reach in the Southeast but also to provide employees with the latest technology and tools to perform their jobs efficiently.
Cutting-Edge Automation –

At the heart of this new distribution center is an advanced AutoStore system. This 16,000-square-foot automated storage and retrieval system utilizes 66 robots to retrieve parts from a dense grid of bins. Those parts are then delivered to workstations where employees prepare shipments headed to dealers.
The system is designed to increase speed and accuracy while taking up less floor space. That means orders can be filled more quickly, stock can be turned over more frequently, and wait times for dealers and customers can shrink significantly. It’s a glimpse at how Stellantis is rethinking logistics in the modern era.
Focus on Sustainability –

Beyond just efficiency, Stellantis is pushing sustainability. The new PDC will feature energy-saving technologies and be built with environmentally conscious practices. This aligns with Stellantis’ broader global strategy to reduce its environmental footprint while enhancing operational efficiency.
This announcement follows several other significant developments for Mopar’s distribution system. Earlier this year, Stellantis opened a $64 million PDC in East Fishkill, New York. In July, it unveiled plans for a massive $388 million Mopar Megahub in Metro Detroit—its largest project of this kind to date.
Together, these projects add up to nearly half a billion dollars in investments aimed at strengthening Mopar’s footprint in North America. For Stellantis, it’s about meeting customer demand, ensuring parts are in the right place at the right time, and backing up its brand promise with real-world infrastructure.
A Long-Term Commitment –

Mopar has been serving customers for more than 88 years, supplying genuine parts, accessories, and service solutions for Stellantis brands. The new Georgia facility reflects Stellantis’ long-term commitment to the belief that, even as the auto industry transitions to electrification and advanced technologies, customer service and parts availability remain equally important.
With this $41 million Georgia investment, Stellantis is sending a clear signal: the Mopar brand remains central to its North American operations, and innovation in parts distribution is just as critical as innovation under the hood.
