Stellantis Mexico has officially released its sales numbers for the month of April. Unlike the United States and Canada which now release their sales number quarterly, Stellantis Mexico releases its number monthly. In total, Stellantis sold 5,544 units during the month of April. That’s a 6% growth compared to the previous year.
Looking at the brands…
Alfa Romeo – The Italian marque managed to sell a total of 17 units for the month.
Chrysler – Only 2 units were sold by the Chrysler brand in Mexico for April.
Dodge – Dodge reported sales of 2,636 units, the best April since 2013. Dodge Attitude posted the best April sales in its history. Dodge Durango increased its sales by 20% versus April 2021. Dodge Challenger increased its sales by 9%. Dodge Journey and Dodge Charger sold 502 units and 156 units, respectively.
FIAT – FIAT sold 303 units. Fiat Argo sold 189 units. Fiat Mobi had sales of 77.
Jeep® – Jeep® sold 1,011 units. Jeep JT (Gladiator) reported the best April sales in its history. Jeep Compass reported the best April sales since 2015. Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Grand Cherokee sold 366 units and 211 units, respectively. Wagoneer sold 17 units.
Peugeot – Peugeot reported sales of 401 units. Peugeot Expert recorded the best April sales in its history. Peugeot 3008 sales increased 56% versus April 2021. Peugeot Landtrek placed 104 units in the Mexican market.
Ram – Ram reported sales of 1,174 units. Ram 1500 placed 691 units in the Mexican market. Ram 4000 sold 260 units. Ram 700 sold 106 units, while Ram 2500 sold 54 units.
