Stellantis Design and Formitalia Unveil Joker-Inspired Furniture Collection
A Bold Furniture Line Where Chaos Meets Italian Craftsmanship

Stellantis Design Studio has taken a wild turn—straight into Gotham City. In a bold collaboration with high-end Italian furniture maker Formitalia and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP), they’ve just unveiled The Joker Collection, a luxury furniture line inspired by the one and only Clown Prince of Crime.
Making its debut at Salone del Mobile 2025 in Milan going on now through the 13th, this isn’t your average designer showcase. It’s a reimagining of what a villain’s lair could look and feel like—unsettling, seductive, and stunningly sophisticated.
Bold Design Meets Villainous Vibes –

What does downtime look like for a maniac like The Joker? Stellantis Design Studio decided to explore that twisted idea—fusing chaos, contradiction, and rebellion into a new wave of furniture that’s both conversation-starting and wildly artistic.
“This collection is a bold statement of duality and conflict,” said Klaus Busse, Head of Stellantis Design Studio. “It’s a celebration of the unapologetic and unpredictable.”
Statement Pieces with a Sinister Edge –

Each piece in The Joker Collection tells its own twisted story:
-
Asylum Armchair – Inspired by restraint, comfort, and madness.
-
Chaos Sofa – Deconstructed and wild, echoing The Joker’s dual personality.
-
The Joker Throne – Narcissism and flamboyance come together in a seat fit for Gotham’s most infamous trickster.
-
The Smile Sofa – Asymmetry and distress create a tribute to instability.
-
The Prankster / Dispenser – Mischievous and unexpected, it blends quirk and menace.
These aren’t just chairs and couches—they’re sculptural centerpieces meant to transform a living space into an immersive theatrical setting, dripping in dark humor and psychological edge.
From Sketch to Showstopper –

Stellantis Design Studio, known for its innovation and boundary-pushing approach to car design, applied those same principles here. They even used artificial intelligence to help capture The Joker’s unsettling yet captivating aura.
Then, working hand-in-hand with Formitalia’s expert artisans, they prototyped and fine-tuned every piece—balancing Italian luxury craftsmanship with rebellious creativity. The result? Furniture that’s as wild as it is refined.
“We loved the idea of creating this villain’s lair,” said Hugo Nightingale, Global Creative Director at Stellantis Design Studio. “A space that gives you a false sense of security—just like The Joker himself.”
