Stellantis Celebrates Outstanding Suppliers for Dedication to Excellence

In a grand celebration of industry partnerships, Stellantis recently acknowledged the exceptional dedication, performance, quality, and operational excellence of its suppliers in 2022. This third annual event saw 40 distinguished suppliers being commended across 16 strategic categories, encompassing purchasing, supply chain, supplier quality, and innovation.

Maxime Picat, Chief Purchasing and Supply Chain Officer at Stellantis, extended warm congratulations to the award winners, acknowledging their pivotal role in steering through challenges and achieving remarkable milestones. “Their collaborative spirit, exceptional performance, uncompromising quality, and timely delivery of parts and services have been integral to our achievements,” he stated.

Nominees and award recipients for the Supplier of the Year were chosen by cross-functional leadership teams at Stellantis, evaluating suppliers based on various criteria, including performance, innovation, quality, cost, program launch, and safety. Their alignment with the Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 plan, a strategic roadmap for the future, was also a critical factor.

As part of the Dare Forward 2030 plan, Stellantis unveiled ambitious goals, including achieving a 100% passenger-car battery-electric vehicle (BEV) sales mix in Europe and a 50% passenger-car and light-duty truck BEV sales mix in the U.S. by 2030. These objectives are central to the purchasing and supply chain team’s mission as Stellantis endeavors to provide clean, safe, and affordable transportation for all.
