Stellantis Awards 2025: Startups Power the Future

Celebrating Game-Changing Innovations that Enhance the Customer Experience

Stellantis is once again shining a spotlight on the startup community with the 2025 Stellantis Venture Awards, recognizing bold innovation and powerful partnerships aimed at improving the customer experience. Now in its fourth year, the awards honor six standout partner startups and two ventures backed by Stellantis Ventures, the company’s €300 million (about $325 million USD) corporate venture capital fund.

According to Ned Curic, Stellantis Chief Engineering and Technology Officer, the startup partnerships play a key role in moving faster and smarter. “Startups help us move faster and more efficiently in the development of technologies that improve people’s lives,” Curic said.

Real-World Solutions That Matter –

This year’s winners were grouped under three main categories—CARE, TECH, and VALUE—based on how they support Stellantis brands and improve life for customers.

CARE –

Biochar. (NetZero).
  • NetZero (France) – Tackling carbon emissions with biochar, a material that not only removes carbon from the atmosphere but also boosts soil health and crop yields.

  • Trashin (Brazil) – Making waste management smarter through circular economy practices and reverse logistics, allowing Stellantis to recycle and remanufacture more materials.

TECH –

Stellantis / Ample Partnership Battery Swap. (Ample).
  • Ample (USA) – This California-based company created a battery swap system that can fully “refuel” EVs in under five minutes. It’s already being tested with Fiat 500e models in Madrid’s Free2move car-sharing fleet.

  • Hive Power (Switzerland) – Their software allows Stellantis EVs to plug into the energy grid and even return power, opening up new revenue streams for fleet owners.

  • HMDrive (Italy) – Using transparent AR glasses and cutting-edge tracking tech, they’re helping make driving safer and more immersive, no matter who’s behind the wheel.

VALUE –

A Dexory Warehouse Robot. (Dexory).
  • Dexory (UK) – Think of it as a real-time digital twin of your warehouse. Their autonomous robots track and manage inventory with more speed and accuracy than ever before.

  • Cloud Ace (Japan) – A top global cloud service provider helping Stellantis streamline operations and transform digitally across multiple brands.

  • GOMECANO (France) – Bringing certified mechanics to your driveway for on-demand repairs, saving customers time and stress.

Investing in the Future –

Besides partnering with startups to bring their tech to life across its brands, Stellantis Ventures also invests in them directly. With €300 million already on the table, the fund supports both early-stage and established startups working on game-changing technologies in mobility, AI, sustainability, and digital services.

Over the past four years, Stellantis has signed more than 250 startup partnership contracts—proof of their commitment to driving innovation that customers can actually feel.

Coming Up Next –

Stellantis Ventures will showcase its latest partners and technologies at MOVE 2025, the global mobility tech conference taking place on June 18–19 at ExCeL London. Expect to see next-gen solutions in battery innovation, AI, and inclusive mobility, as well as tech-packed displays from Citroën, FIAT, and other Stellantis brands.
