Yesterday, we reported that Dodge is pushing up the launch schedule for its 2025 Dodge Charger SIXPACK models by five months. Today, thanks to TikTok user @drkklm, we’ve got a sneak peek at one of these highly anticipated Charger SIXPACK Coupes out in the real world, photographed parked in a driveway in Metro Detroit.
The 2025 Dodge Charger SIXPACK Coupe features Dodge’s new twin-turbocharged internal combustion engine (ICE) as a tribute to the brand’s classic muscle car roots. While the Charger SIXPACK Coupe shares much of its design with the electric Charger Daytona model, there are a few key differences that make the ICE model unique.
Exterior Design Details –
With its aggressive styling, the Charger SIXPACK Coupe includes a “mail-slot” grille for additional cooling, replacing the R-wing design found on the Charger Daytona EV. It also features a power dome hood with a bold ‘SIXPACK’ heat extractor vent, adding a muscular look to match its performance-focused build. Around back, the Charger SIXPACK stands out with its rear-exit dual exhaust system and a rear fascia labeled “Charger” rather than “Daytona,” emphasizing its ICE identity.
Performance Features –
The spotted Charger SIXPACK model appears to include the Track Pack package, which enhances the car’s performance and handling. It’s equipped with Brembo® brakes—six-piston fixed front and four-piston rear calipers—and comes with 20-inch by 11-inch aluminum front wheels fitted with 305/35R20 all-season tires. At the rear, 20-inch by 11.5-inch wheels with larger 325/35R20 tires complete the assertive stance. The vehicle is also fitted with a gloss black rear spoiler and Dodge’s dual-valve adaptive damping suspension, making it ready for spirited driving.
Power and Drivetrain Options –
The Charger SIXPACK models will come standard with all-wheel-drive (AWD) when launched. However, Dodge may eventually offer a rear-wheel-drive (RWD) option, catering to buyers in warmer climates who don’t need AWD. Under the hood, the two-door Charger SIXPACK Coupe is powered by a high-output (H/O) version of Dodge’s twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter HURRICANE I-6 engine, delivering an impressive 550 horsepower. The four-door Charger SIXPACK Sedan will feature the standard-output (S/O) HURRICANE engine, generating 420 horsepower.
While each body style is currently limited to one power output, many enthusiasts hope to see both engine versions available across the two- and four-door models. Dodge has not confirmed this, but sources suggest that they may expand these options after the initial launch.
Dodge’s ICE Commitment –
In January, former Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis emphasized the brand’s dedication to internal combustion, “The HURRICANE engine-powered Dodge Charger SIXPACK models will give the Brotherhood of Muscle a gas option that produces better horsepower and torque numbers than the outgoing 5.7- and 6.4-liter HEMI® engines,” he stated.
The new HURRICANE-powered Charger models are expected to arrive in dealerships by late spring next year, allowing Dodge fans to experience the next generation of ICE muscle performance.
